We are almost complete! We are now ordering furnishings. The kitchen is in the final stages thanks to the donation from PSCI and matching gifts from Lowes
The contractors and members are putting on the final construction items.
The tables have been purchased, the chairs are ordered and things are shaping up for our Grand Opening ... Stay Tuned for more to come

The only words that come to mind when you enter our new building. If you entered when we first started, you can now see the accomplishments. LOWES is awesome--- what else can be said for a store that actually puts back into their community. The entire store under manager Clint Adams, is giving everything they have to make this project a complete success. Their Volunteers and Contractors were at the building working several days a week, painting, laying tile and getting the building in shape. Then they took the money donated by PSCI and allowed us to get all the kitchen supplies needed. Our next step is to secure the kitchen cabinets.

WE CONTINUE TO PRESS FORWARD
The last updated (see below) we updated you on the progess of acquring most of hte supplies needed to completed the building. The Walls were torn down, therefore we were heading to the next step. WELL the bathrooms are almost complete and fabulous. TM Electric located at 2480 Slater Rd., Gatesville, TX came in and did the the electrical work. There are not enough words, to thank Tom and his crew for handling the electrical. THANK YOU TM ELECTRIC

THINGS ARE UNDER WAY!
The walls are down, the bathrooms are being remodeled and supplies are steadily coming in.

The Walls are coming down -- delayed a few days! Due to additional administrative requirements, the renovation for the walls to be removed to create the large community room for the new home of Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans has been delayed.
Additional requirements set us back but we are heading in the right directions.
SOME POSITIVES:
1. Dal-Tile donated almost 2500 sq. ft. of ceramic tile and it has been delivered to our headquarters

2. Gage Granite has completed the conference table and it has been delivered to our headquarters

3. The new conference chairs have been donated and delivered to our headquarters

4. Neville Document Solution has donated a color copier and it has been delivered to our headquarters

As we continue to march toward completing of our renovation process, we THANK everyone who has donated toward our success!

As the New Year begins, SG-VHV will start the renovation process of our Headquarters based at 202 S. 4th Street, Copperas Cove, TX (formerly the old CC Police Dept.). The renovation process will be broken into three (3) phases, with completion date set for April 30, 2013.
Phase One will be the preparation stage. We will obtain our Certificate of Occupancy and all Permits needed from the City of Copperas Cove to begin our renovation. Several of the Executive Team Members have volunteered for the task of obtaining estimates for each of the separate projects needed to complete the entire project.
PHASE ONE - (A)

1. Obtain Certificate of Occupancy Completed
2. Obtain Permits for Construction/Renovation In Progress
3. Obtain Estimates Completed
4. Renovation of Walls & Ceiling Tiles In Progress
As we begin this process, we are soliciting the help of any licensed contractors that would like to donate to this project. Contributions may come in the form of Construction expertise, Materials, Supplies and/or Monetary Donations.

9. Three (3) Commercial Towel & Soap Dispenser and Commercial No-Touch Waste Baskets
10. Baby Changing Station (Wall Mount Type)
