OUR GOALS

Thank you for your interest in the Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans organization.

Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose main purpose is to be a viable voice in the community for veterans and to assist other citizens in our community. 

The organization was formed from a concerned group of veterans who saw unmet needs within their veteran community. This Group of Veterans with the extreme desire to help others decided something needed to be done.  The Spirit of a Soldier never dies but continues to find ways to adapt and overcome.  No obstacle or situation stops this giving spirit and thus the formation of Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans.

Each year we host or participate in the following primary events within the Central Texas area.  

• SG-VHV Independence Day Picnic - June  
• Relay for Life & Race for the Cure (Cancer) - April
• Back to School "Stuff the Bus" Copperas Cove - August 
  
• SG-VHV School Supplies - August
  
• SG-VHV Gospel Explosion - October
• SG-VHV Veterans Day Golf Tournament - November 
• SG-VHV Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway - November 
  
• SG-VHV Christmas Helper - December
  

We also collaborate with several area Veteran Organizations and Civilian Organizations with a focus on the Veterans. 

As we partner with the surrounding cities, businesses and Fort Hood, we would love for you to join us as we make a difference in our community.

VISION

That each and every veteran and citizen of our communities is given the attention and tools needed to be successful in everyday life.  No veteran, their family or citizen is without food, shelter, support and a person who cares and understands (a Battle Buddy)
