Star Group - Veterans Helping Veterans Congratulates Robert Griffin III (RG3) as Copperas Cove dedicates RG3 Blvd

SG-VHV President Mr. Jonathan Haywood and Vice President Mr. John Robertson attended the Robert Griffin III Boulevard Dedication in Copperas Cove, TX.

A hometown crowd greeted the Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III Friday afternoon in Copperas Cove as Griffin returned for a ceremony dedicating a street named in his honor through the Five Hills development. City officials asked developers to name the road after Griffin, the Copperas
Cove High School standout who went on to become Baylor University’s first Heisman Trophy winner.

It was truly an honor to be present as RG3 was welcomed back home with open arms by his fans, friends, family and community leaders. Mayor John Hull and City Manager Ms. Andrea Gardener and the Copperas Cove City Council rolled out the Red Carpet Treatment. Members of the news media were in full force at the event. Robert Griffin III did not disappoint his friends or family as he stood in the rain signing autographs and taking pictures with fans he could reach.

Also in attendance were his parents (Robert & Jacqueline), his spiritual leader Bishop Nate Holcomb (CHOP) and Donald Tillman father of Chicago Bears Outstanding (DB) Charles Tillman.

CONGRATS RG3!
