Star Group - Veterans Helping Veterans Thanks Copperas Cove City Council

Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans thanks Copperas Cove Mayor John Hull, Copperas Cove City Manager, Ms. Andrea Gardner, City Staff, Police Chief Tim Molnes and the Copperas Cove City Council, Ms. Cheryl Meredith, Mr. Danny Palmer, Mr. Gary Kent, Mr. Kenn Smith, Mr. Jim Schmidt and Mr. Frank Seffrood.

There are many ways to say thank you but none seem genuine enough to show Mayor Hull, Ms. Gardner, Police Chief Tim Molnes, City Staff and the entire Copperas Cove City Council how much we appreciate their continued support.

The Copperas Cove City Council approved the Copperas Cove Old Police Department at 202 S. 4th Street as the Star Group- Veterans Helping Veterans new home. But the ultimate shock came when the Council decided on a rental payment of $1 per year for the next two years; Chief Molnes upon the approval donated the two dollars for the organization’s two year mortgage.

All of the SG-VHV Members present sat down so we wouldn’t fall or pass out. It is wonderful to have the support of the Mayor, City Manager, Police Chief, the entire City Council and the City Staff, as we move forward and continue to provide assistance for area veterans.

One of our goals is to make the entire city of Copperas Cove proud that they took a chance on Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans.

Again we say thank you to Mayor John Hull, Ms. Andrea Gardner, City Staff, Tim Moines and the entire Copperas Cove City Council as we begin to renovate our new Headquarters.

Copperas Cove also has a newly elected city council member, Mr. Mark Peterson (who was not on the board at that time) and SG-VHV welcomes him to this awesome team.
