Star Group Veterans Helping Veterans volunteered to help with the Community Fair hosted by Stoney Brook of Copperas Cove.
This event was a celebration of national assisted-living week. The national theme was “Family is Forever”. The Event had many volunteers whose assistance helped to make it a success. There were games, fun and entertainment; a bounce house for the youngsters, a dunking booth and various other activities. Star Group team was led by SGVHV Advisory Committee leaders Mr. Stanley Davis and Mr. Lovell Mitchell. The Events BBQ and other food service was handled the SG-VHV Advisory Leaders plus Mr Audra Hill and Ms Evelyn Peel. All of the Stoney Brook Residents Family and Friends as well as the Copperas Cove community and surrounding cities supported this Fun Filled Event. All proceeds will benefit Alzheimer Texas.
SGVHV was honored to be asked by Stoney Brook to assist with this Community Event.
