Star Group Veterans Helping Veterans {Covid-19 Safety Bags}

Doing this COVID-19 crisis, Star Group Veteran Helping Veteran‘s team has been limited to what we could do to help the community. A majority of the membership is over 60 and/or has health issues. We felt we needed to do something during this time but What?

So during our end of April virtual meeting, the SGVHV Advisory Committee made a decision the Group would distribute Covid-19 Safety Bags which consisted of masks, gloves, hand sanitizer etc. to SGVHV Team and Community. A text was sent to the membership to have them RSVP if they wanted a package and to schedule a Drive By time during the first week of May!

We knew we were unable to serve everyone by ourselves, so we decided in order to serve the Local Communities we’d partnered with our 2020 Star Group Veterans Helping Veterans Premier Corporate Sponsors.

The SGVHV Premier Corp Sponsors are PCSI, Century 21 CC, Linnemann Realty, All American Chevrolet, Scott’s Funeral Home CC, AFGE Local 1920, AFGE District 10, National United Bank CC, JR Herring Rentals and City of Copperas Cove. Each were given bags consisting of 120 Cloth Masks, 50 Disposable Mask, Gloves, Hand Sanitizers, etc to distribute to their Clients, Team and Community. This way many people were served.

Overall response was Phenomenal.
Again Star Group Veterans Helping Veterans Team was able to HELP!
