Star Group Veterans Helping Veterans Life-Time Member, Elijah King CSM (RET) passed away on Sunday, March 12th and he will be truly missed. He gave his all to a Grateful Nation, the Star Group Veterans Helping Veterans Family, every Veteran and Veterans Organization.

We will continue to pray for his wife Ms Debbie King, the King Family & the Entire Veteran Community because we lost a comrade much to soon.

One of his many passions was to ensure all Vietnam Veterans received the proper recognition and thank you for their service. He honored thousands of Vietnam Veterans from all over Texas by personally pinning each of them with the Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemorative Pin and presented them their Certificate and gifts with the grace and dignity they deserved.

Elijah King is also well known in the Killeen and surrounding communities and in the Veterans circle.

Following his illustrious military career, he continued to support the military and community through positions in various organizations, serving as co-chairman of the Fort Hood Retired Council and the chairman of the Central Texas Area Veterans Advisory Committee. He was a member of the Killeen Branch NAACP and served on the board of directors for Killeen Independent School District Communities in Schools, and on the Military Child Education Coalition any was active in many other organizations.

King’s Memorial Service was at 10 am Friday, March 24 at Lifeway Fellowship, 4001 E Elms Rd, Killeen with a Full Military Honor Burial service following at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at noon.

Retired Gen. James Thurman, who served as King’s commander from 2004 to 2007, gave the eulogy. “Elijah King was a great soldier, a man of true faith, with a tremendous love of God,” said Thurman, who lives in the Salado area. In the eulogy, the retired four-star general quoted other military leaders who were impacted by King’sservice. During the service, Thurman quoted Fort Hood garrison commander Col. Todd Fox as saying: “King was my go-to man for anything I needed. I relied on his insight to rally our troops.”Thurman ended the eulogy saying everyone whoknew King loved him, and said people should strive to serve like King did during his life. Thurman said King was  one of a kind, a man who loved God and would be proud of all the lives he impacted.

A member and supporter of all Veteran Organizations, As long as you supported veterans, he was right there.

How to get rid of acne marks/scars?I have some acne scars on my face that are basically little red dots. I can cover them with makeup just fine, but I really want to get rid of them so I can use less makeup. I’ve already tried Clean and Clear Acne Mark Treatment and it didn’t work. Does anyone have any recommendations for products or remedies?
