Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans III Gospel Explosion Fundraiser held at the Killeen Arts & Activity Center (October 17, 2015) was a great success as the evening started with Ms. Lois Childress (MC) for the evening providing inspirational comments & laughter throughout the event. With her infectious smile & wit she moved the performers through the concert with ease.

Chaplain Anthony Taylor then provided the Invocation which set the tone for the Gospel Explosion. As he prayed you knew that something special was about to happen and as the prayers went up a Blessing came down for someone on stage & in the audience.

Mr. Stanley Davis (Gospel Explosion III Event Director) did an excellent job and selected all of the performers. Mr. Ricky Price provided all the sound equipment & Stage Set-Up.

Mr. John Robertson (SG-VHV Vice President) oversaw the Concession Area and took care of everyone as the patrons came through the serving line throughout the Gospel Explosion Fundraiser with assistance from Mr. Michael Barker & Ms. Lillian Estes.

Special thanks goes out to Mr. Lovell Mitchell as he and the Ushers we sharply dressed and poised as they controlled the flow of attendees and the performers as they seated guest & ushered the performers on and off stage during the show.

Mr. Joseph Hill & Ms. Renee Howard excepted tickets & donations at the door with smiles and admiration for everyone that entered the door.

Thanks to all Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans members who volunteered their time to set-up & tear down equipment for the Fundraiser.

A special thanks goes out to the following performers for making the Star Group-Veterans Helping Veterans III Gospel Explosion Fundraiser a blessing and memorable occasion: Camanche Chapel Choir & Praise Dancers Devine Messenger's Bishop Royce Montgomery Voices Of Hope / New Hope Worship Anointed Praise Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Choir Greater Vision Choir.
